Fukuoka to Busan
After an enriching stay in Fukuoka, the journey continues with an exciting maritime adventure aboard the JR Beetle ferry to Busan, South Korea. The ferry ride, spanning the scenic waters of the Korea Strait, offers a unique travel experience, blending convenience with the allure of the open sea. Passengers can enjoy panoramic views, onboard amenities, and the thrill of approaching a new country by water. Arriving in Busan, we will be greeted by the dynamic atmosphere of South Korea’s second-largest city, renowned for its beaches, seafood, and vibrant cultural scene.
Busan Stay
For the next three nights, we will stay at the newly opened L7 Haeundae hotel, a stylish and contemporary establishment located in the heart of Haeundae Beach, one of Busan’s most popular destinations. The hotel did not have many reviews when we initially booked but the amenities ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. With its prime location, we will have easy access to Haeundae Beach, the Busan Aquarium, and a plethora of dining and entertainment options. Exploring the lively Haeundae district, enjoying beachside activities, and indulging in Busan’s renowned seafood cuisine will create an unforgettable experience.
Seoul
Following the stay in Busan, the adventure continues with a high-speed KTX train ride to Seoul. The KTX offers a fast and efficient way to travel between Busan and Seoul, allowing us to enjoy the scenic Korean countryside en route. Arriving in Seoul, we will spend two nights at The Le Meridien Seoul, a prestigious establishment known for its elegance and exceptional service. Located in the heart of the city, Le Meridien provides easy access to Seoul’s top attractions, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Myeongdong shopping district, and the vibrant nightlife of Hongdae.
The visit coincides with Chuseok, Korea’s traditional harvest festival, adding a rich cultural dimension to the stay. Celebrating Chuseok in Seoul offers a unique opportunity to experience Korean customs and traditions, from ancestral rites and folk games to special holiday foods. The hotel’s strategic location allows guests to partake in various Chuseok activities and events across the city. The combination of luxurious accommodation, cultural immersion, and the festive spirit of Chuseok ensures a truly memorable conclusion to our Korea part of our trip.
